Villa Jones is situated in the hilly landscape of olive groves and forests in the Haut Var, the hinterland of the Côte d’Azur. Edward Jones, partner of the renowned London architecture firm Dixon Jones, and his architect wife Margot designed this holiday home for themselves and their family. Elongated and narrow, the structure follows the topography of the property, which is bordered to the north by the Col du Bel Homme ridge and by a terraced slope to the south, which leads down to the village of Bargemon. Closed on its northern side, the building opens out to the south, such that each room benefits from views of the village and the wooded hills down to the Mediterranean Sea.
At the centre of the house you will find the two-storey loggia, flanked by the living room and dining room with a kitchen on the ground floor and by the master bedroom and three other bedrooms on the first floor. To the side of the building there is the 14-metre saltwater pool and an outbuilding. And the entire ensemble is drawn together by a 60-metre pergola overgrown with wine and jasmine.

Wir haben im September 2025 die Villa Jones ausgesprochen genossen. Mit großen Türen und Fenstern nach Süden hatten wir immer die wilde und kraftvolle Natur mit weitem Blick in einen breiten Talkessel vor Augen.
Wer Spaß am Kochen hat, findet eine perfekt eingerichtete Küche vor. Auch die anderen Räume waren bestens ausgestattet. Flauschige Handtücher, gute Auflagen für die Outdoor-Möbel. Für unseren Hund war der Zaun um das Grundstück Gold wert.
Bargemon ist zu Fuß erreichbar und bietet mit dem romantischen Dorfkern das Flair, indem man für einen Kaffee gut eine Stunde genussvoll verbringen möchte.
