In the wine village Caldaro, Verena Huf transformed a 70s pension into a stylish B & B. The South Tyrolean comes from a family of hoteliers: her family runs the Hotel Panorama in Caldaro in the 3rd generation. “The Wanda” is named after a pension on Elba, which belonged Verena Huf’s grandfather. The easy way of life she connects with this retreat shall live on in her own B & B. To achieve this, the house was completely gutted, the number of rooms was halved and a wellness area was added. The ambience is personal and relaxed. Feel good is the motto! This starts with the room selection. The guest can choose his favorite room out of 12 suites. They are all beautiful: the design is simple and straightline with lots of wood and muted colors. The suites all have either one or even two balconies, a roof terrace or a terrace with private garden. Breakfast with local products is served on the south-facing terrace or in the Panoramastube – with views over the vineyards and apple orchards to the mountains. The panorama can also be enjoyed while swimming in the indoor pool and even from the sauna or in summer from the outdoor pool in the Mediterranean garden.
