This old house dating to 1710 has already experienced some changes. More than 40 years ago the Spycher was brought from Entlebuch to Füringen, where it now sits majestically above Lake Lucerne. In 2010 the building was renovated and opened to the lakeside. As quaint as the cottage may seem from the outside, inside it features a modern interior with designer pieces by Nils Holger Moormann, Aero Saarinen and Verner Panton. However, even the most beautiful design cannot live up to the view from the windows. From every room you have a magnificent view to the top of Pilates and Lake Lucerne: from the dining table in the basement, the sitting area by the fireplace on the ground floor or from the beds of the two bedrooms. The upper attic bedroom is accessed via an external staircase; here you feel like you’re in an eagle’s nest and far away from everyday life.
