Strata in the South Tyrolean Dolomites is a fantastic examples of innovative alpine architecture that brings design into perfect harmony with nature. The Strata wing, which is an extension to the Residence Königswarte, blends in harmoniously with the surrounding topography: thin horizontal slats of larch wood wind themselves around the house like the layers of ancient rock massifs. The building has a glass facade that opens out to the south side with beautiful views of the mountains. The suites have been furnished with local materials such as loden, leather, larch wood and dolomite stone
Strata is connected underground to the main house next door. Hotel Rainer, has every comfort on offer – from sophisticated half board accommodation options through to an extensive wellness centre and child care offers available throughout the year. The Rainers think of themselves as a “family for families” where the wellbeing of their guests, both young and old, always comes first.

Ein architektonisches HIGHLIGHT
Die Residenz Königswarte ist für alle Liebhaber des Schönen ein absolutes MUSS!! Die Appartements sind schlicht eingerichtet und schaffen es trotzdem eine ungeahnte Gemütlichkeit zu schaffen. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön und man kommt aus dem Staunen gar nicht mehr raus. Dann noch diese traumhafte Aussicht auf die umliegende Bergwelt.… einfach atemberaubend. In diesem Haus herrscht Gastfreundschaft pur und die Vorteile die man durch den gegenüberliegenden Familienbetrieb nutzen kann sind fantastisch! Die Kombination aus stylisch und gemütlich ist hier wunderbar geglückt! Wir kommen SICHER wieder! Danke Familie Rainer/Schwienbacher
Das Haus Strata ist wunderbar in die Landschaft eingebettet und besticht durch Schlichtheit und Klarheit — seine Gastgeberin Judith Rainer Schwinbacher besticht mit Charme und Hilfsbereitschaft! Eine ideale Kombination also!
Die Wohnungen in der Strata sind praktisch und farblich perfekt eingerichtet. Der Ausblick durch die grossen Fenster auf die Dolomitenbergwelt ist fantastisch.
Sexten bietet sportlich viel — und auch die Kleinen kommen auf dem Resorteigenen Zwergenspielplatz voll auf ihre Rechnung.
Tipp 1: nicht immer selber kochen! Vis-à-vis im Hotel Rainer wird man herrlich verköstigt — und nach einer langen Wanderung sind Gaumenfreuden und ein Glas heimischer Tropfen stärkend!
Tipp 2: eine Massage im Spa kann ebenfalls Wunder bewirken :-)
