Between cornfields, paddocks and the bay, to the south east of the holiday island of Rügen, lies the village of Zicker, and the Kornspeicher Mauritz. This old granary, which was formerly part of a three-sided farm, has been thoughtfully modernised. Many building details have been preserved and give the four holiday homes their own character: The ground floor with steel columns, concrete floor and floor-to-ceiling windows exudes urban loft flair. With raw brickwork, rustic beams and furnishings in modern country house style, the upper floors have rustic charm and offer a special spatial experience with open galleries.
There is plenty of space even for large families or groups: the largest apartment measures 450 square metres! The apartments have up to 8 bedrooms, several bathrooms and open-planned living areas with a spacious, bright and airy loft atmosphere. Large kitchens and long dining tables as well as seating groups by the fireplace offer plenty of space for cooking, dining and talking together. Ideal for those who need less space, is the 50 square metre corner flat on the ground floor. Each apartment has a terrace or balcony with a view of the green surroundings. A communal sauna is available to all guests.
The nearby bird sanctuary and natural beaches about 2 kilometres away shape the landscape. The unspoilt beaches invite you to stroll along them and to gaze into the distance, across the Greifswalder Bodden, out to the open sea and across the protected landscape. Even the pathway to the beach offers a breathtaking experience of nature.
