In the series “Under one roof”, the Süddeutsche Zeitung introduces people and their living environment. For example, the architect Thomas Ziesel, who has transformed a 1970s roof-only house near Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria into a modern energy miracle: Solarferienhaus S3 (Solar Holiday House S3; pictured). Or Katrin Lesser and Ben Buschfeld, who live in the Hufeisensiedlung in Berlin and are, among other things, landlords of Tautes Heim. Or the Stuttgart based architect Martin Ohlf, who with La Chalette has created a surprising accommodation in a former tractor shed in the Black Forest.
