Do you prefer traditional or modern? In the Quinta da Bouca d’Arques you can choose between eight apartments in the typical regional style, a mixture of old and new or modern architecture. The former mansion of the 17th Century has been supplemented by a new building. The rectilinear construction made of concrete, glass, iron and wood is a successful counterpoint to the old manor. At the same time it is integrated into the historical surroundings, because it is built on the foundation of an old building. It is framed by a structure of wooden slats that filters the light and provides privacy. At the rear, two concrete cubes create intimate courtyards. This new building comprises two apartments, each about 50 sqm in size. The other flats are located on the ground floor of the manor house or are spread around the grounds as cottages. Whichever apartment you choose, either way you can enjoy their quiet location surrounded by vineyards and the idyllic garden with a salt water pool.
What to do
Stroll through the vineyards and woods, rafting, golf, tennis, mountain biking, kayak, ocean and river beaches, go karting, surfing and windsurfing. Historical cities: Viana do Castelo, Ponte de Lima, Braga and Guimarães (world heritage), less than one hour from Porto (world heritage) and 1h20m from Santiago de Compostela. Massages can be arranged.

ein prachtvolles altes landhaus umgeben von wein und wald, 7 sehr unterscheidliche unterkünfte vom im klassischen cottage stil — über umbauten mit einer mischung aus alt und neu — bis zu 2 ultramodernen pavillions (Casa do Ácer & Casa do Jacarandá — sehr zu empfehlen !). schöner garten ! zum strand sind es 15 minuten mit dem auto, viana de castelo ist ebenso schnell erreichbar und lohnt sich für einen besuch.

über urlaubsarchitektur an diesen verwunschenen ort gelangt!
ein kleines Bistro vor ort wäre vielleicht noch für die zukunft eine bereicherung?!
