Modern architecture at the foot of an old castle: with its contemporary des ign, Refugio Laudegg forms a stunning contrast to its neighbor from the 12th Century. By virtue of its form with several vertically displaced units and the use of local materials, it blends in harmoniously with its surroundings. Inside nothing distracts from the views to the Tyrolean mountains: Rooms and suites have broad glass fronts and are simply furnished. The wooden walls provide a warmth within this pleasing minimalist approach. Refugio Laudegg belongs to the neighboring Rauthof, a traditional restaurant, known for its good, down-to-earth Tyrolean cuisine.
In the village center – just a few minutes walk from Refugio Laudegg and overlooking the castle – lies Villa Mulin. The house from the 19th century was already used as a mill and power plant. Now it has been converted into a holiday home for up to eight people, combining traditional elements with modern facilities. The house is well equipped for a holiday with children. The adults enjoy the private sauna.
What to do
Refugio Laudegg and Villa Mulin are good starting points for sporting activities in the region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis: hiking in summer and skiing in the huge ski area in winter.
Why we like this house
