The cooperative project “Ein Ding der Möglichkeit” [A Thing of Possibility] offers an experimental field for new living and working concepts on a former farm in the Wendland region. In 2020, a handful of founding members from Berlin and Hamburg started the possibility space consisting of a three-sided farm with barn, stable and residential building. The buildings were renovated mostly by the members themselves using sustainable criteria and designed for professional, private and cultural events. The casual vintage style brings a bit of urban life to the rural space. The large art barn with stage offers space for events with up to 300 people. For smaller formats, there are three other rooms that can be rented individually or together for workshops, offsite events, yoga classes or private parties. The cooperative itself organises numerous art and cultural events and offers art scholarships.
