Weinberg12 in Styria is a small but smart holiday home. The building is part of a rural estate consisting of a three-sided farm and several outbuildings on the outskirts of Weinberg an der Raab. During its revitalization, the house was given a new spatial quality through an architectural intervention.
The key element here is the staircase, which stands in the middle of the house and divides the two floors into different functional areas. The living and dining areas are located on the first floor, adjoined by an open kitchen with panoramic windows. The sleeping area and bathroom are located on the top floor. A striking feature is the large, glass dormer window, which provides a special bathing experience and gives the house its own modern look.
What to do
Walks and bike rides along the meadowland of the Raabtal. Visits of the thermal baths as well as castles and palaces in the area. The fertile region of the Styrian volcano and an excursion along the South East Styrian wine route offer a wide range of culinary offers.
