Old meets new - in the hills of Styria, surrounded by meadows and forests in a wonderfully secluded location, a 200-year-old farmhouse was juxtaposed with a modern glass building that literally stands against the slope with the help of a 40-metre-long natural stone wall.

A 200-year-old hay barn in southern Styria has been given a new lease on life as a holiday house. The conversion process involved the barn being completely disassembled, its wooden beams being carefully restored and then carefully reassembled once again.
