The holiday home for two, situated amidst steep wine terraces, celebrates the landscape of the South Styrian wine region of southern Austria. The house is as a modern interpretation of the traditional Weinstöckel. Its historical model would have been designed as a wine storage depot, and a resting spot for the estate’s winemakers; this version reserves this exclusive location among the vines just for you. Natural materials (solid timber walls of spruce and larch, furniture of acacia, natural stone and linen fabrics) and the views over the wide hilly landscape define ist ambience. The rooms – the living, dining and cooking area with a fireplace and the bedroom with a free-standing bathtub – are grouped around an open atrium. Large panoramic windows offer perspectives of the opposite rooms and views of the landscape. An outside staircase leads down from the atrium to the panoramic terrace with a pool and sauna.
