The Stadl am Tunauberg is a quiet retreat. The room concept is surprisingly open for a converted old barn: A glazed gable wall, set back into the building, blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior space. The construction, stems, purlins and rafters were all made deliberately visible. The roof seems to float. Stripped designed furniture support the open space effect. One particular highlight is the small sauna, which is located in front of the house. And from inside, thanks to a large glass wall, you enjoy a beautiful view over the surrounding greenery.
