Thu­ringia Stadthaus Arn­stadt
The former hometown of com­ponist Johann Sebastian Bach in the heart of Thu­ringia is part of the Gera Cycle Path (total length: 75 km) and con­nected to the Ilmtal Cycle Path (total length: 125 km). It is pos­sible to get to the hotel by train.

Fran­conian Switz­erland Refugium Bet­zen­stein
The land­lords lend e‑mountain bikes, and vacation guests receive a dis­count. The small his­toric town of Bet­zen­stein in the middle of the Fran­conian Switz­erland Nature Park is a good starting point for tours through the mountain land­scape as well as one of the most important castle land­scapes in Central Europe.

The wild and rugged land­scape of the Bode Valley is not only one of the most beau­tiful hiking areas in Germany, but also very popular with mountain bikers. Directly on site there is the Bikepark Bodetal, the only official bike park in Saxony-Anhalt. Various enduro and downhill trails offer dif­ferent levels of dif­fi­culty.
