Viticulture and architecture

This is an article from our archive. It was published in February 2023, so some details may no longer be up to date.

Hubertus Adam explains in the feature section of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) how viticulture and architecture can mutually benefit each other, using Switzerland as an example. To the article (German version)

Worthwhile destinations for wine lovers within the HOLIDAYARCHITECTURE cosmos could be, for example, the following accommodations that have dedicated themselves to viticulture: Cantzheim on the Saar (pictured, photo © Christopher Arnoldi), La Darbia in Piedmont and VIVERE rooms and suites in Trentino. The former Dexamenes wine factory in the Peloponnese offers a special living experience: you can spend the night there in the former concrete wine tanks.
