Kalli thea means great view – and the Kallithea Villas keep what their name promises. The seven villas on a green slope in the south of the Pelion Peninsula afford magnificent views of the Aegean Sea, the bay and the idyllic fishing village of Platanias.

Modern architecture in an olive grove: The Boomerang House is a B&B with two guest rooms in a secluded location in the south of Crete. The boomerang shape and the materials concrete, glass and wood characterize the building.

These two holiday homes, built by the artist couple Sofia Mavroudis and Antonis Choudalakis on a hillside on the island of Crete, were inspired by Le Cabanon, the famous wooden hut designed by Le Corbusier.
