Sieseby Loft is nestled in the property of a former farmhouse on the outskirts of the village of Sieseby on the Schlei inlet of Germany’s Baltic Sea coast. The loft is integrated into an old barn, but stands out with its façade of black larch wood planks.
Inspired by the photographic studios of the owner, photographer Peter Kaus, the accommodation is set apart by its use of width and light. Large windows – up to eight metres high on the garden side – bring plenty of light into the rooms and offer views of the park-like garden property. Floorboards and wooden ceilings, exciting lines of sight, works of art, and a calming colour scheme define the ambience.
Across ist generous 190 sqm, the loft offers plenty of space for two people. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and the very high living room with a fireplace. On the first floor there is a gallery with a TV corner and work area, a bedroom with a comfortable box spring bed and a spacious bathroom. The loft features a 100 sqm patio, which offers plenty of privacy and is connected to the 7000 sqm garden.
The Loft belongs to the Fjorde Sieseby ensemble, which includes two further holiday homes.
What to do
Cycling, sailing, canoeing (jetty 600 m away), fishing, hiking, golf, museum visits, concerts. Excursions to the Baltic Sea, day trips to Flensburg, Eckernförde, Schleswig or the Danish South Sea.

Unsere Ferien an der Schlei sind zwar vorbei, aber die Erinnerung an die wunderbare Zeit bleibt. Das Loft war perfekt für uns, der großzügige Raum, die interessante, anregende Einrichtung, die äußerst liebenswürdige Erstausstattung bei unserer Ankunft, ein echtes home away from home!
Die Gastgeber, Frau und Herr Kaus sind zwei ganz besondere Menschen, wir freuen uns diese kennengelernt zu haben. Alle ihre guten Vorschläge für einen schönen Urlaubstag haben wir noch nicht umgesetzt, wir müssen und wollen also ganz bestimmt wiederkommen.
Wir durften eine wunderschöne und entspannende Woche im Loft Fjorde-Sieseby verbringen. Die Aufenthaltsqualität in der Wohnung war unglaublich. Da wurden die beiden Schlechtwettertage zum puren Vergnügen. Die Gastgeber haben das Loft mit viel Liebe und Stil eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Es fehlt dort an nichts! Die Herzlichkeit und das Eingehen auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse und Interessen der Gäste machten diesen Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.
