The Fuchsegg combines modern architecture with traditional building techniques and the demand for sustainability with the desire for comfort. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bregenzerwald, three houses and 24 flexibly combinable residential units offer the opportunity for families and friends to spend “time together”, or for workshops or retreats. Surrounded by meadows, forests and mountains, the ensemble fulfils the needs of very different user groups. The accommodation enables guests to combine or separate retreat and socialising; there are spacious lodges as well as small apartments. The names of the three conference rooms speak for themselves: “Focus”, “Flow” and “Fireplace Room” invite focussed work, movement and relaxed dialogue respectively. A large lounge area provides the setting for spending time together and the “Tenn” is a room for presentations. The spacious outdoor area with a terrace, sauna house heated mountain pool and a yoga platform offers many favourite spots in the midst of unspoilt nature.
