Behind its two very different façades, the Hotel Stadthaus Arnstadt hides a long and exciting history. The half-timbered house in the style of the Thuringian Renaissance from the 16th century served as a residential building for a long time, then as a girls’ school and from 1864 as the production site of the Julius Möller glove factory. At the beginning of the 20th century, a factory building in Art Nouveau style was added. Where seamstresses sewed gloves at the large windows until 1991, there is now a room for workshops, team meetings and cookery events. The partially unplastered brick walls and the grey stone floor, on which you can see the traces of time, are reminiscent of its former industrial use. The four-metre-high L-shaped room can be set up with different seating arrangements and a Steinway grand piano can be used by arrangement. A mobile kitchen is available for self-catering or cooking events. Or you can let the hotel’s own catering service spoil you.

The former sewing room has around 190 square meters, events with parliamentary seating for up to 25 participants are possible, with row seating for up to 80 participants. The room is “L”-shaped. There is a Steinway grand piano in the room, which can be used by arrangement. If you would like to cook yourself, there is a mobile kitchen that can be set up in the room.
