The Engadine house, centrally located in the village of Ramosch, is over 300 years old. It was renovated entirely but thoroughly in 2011, preserving the historic building with the traditional structure of the residential stable house while at the same time adapting it to modern living requirements.

Minimalist wooden architecture in the Vosges mountains: In the climatic health resort of Gerardmer in the Lorraine, the architects from Atelier Ordinaire have built a wooden house which is the second home of a family of five and can also be rented as a holiday home for up to 16 people or used for workshops.

Casa Ceppi is a rural property on the Croatian peninsula of Istria. The historic complex, which comprises a main building and outbuildings grouped around a central square, was in ruins until it was discocerd by the Berlin architecture firm Wietersheim, who lovingly restored it and gave it a new, contemporary lease of life.
